For years, Washington DC has been identified as a swamp. It’s where there is more corruption than most people realize. Congressmen are being paid to vote one way or another by big businesses that stand to profit or lose based on if a bill is passed or not. There is also a lot of needless money being spent on keeping all of the government agencies in one location.
President Trump has been the most vocal about “draining the swamp” though he certainly wasn’t the first to mention it.
Now, it’s important for citizens like you to decide whether you’re a swamp dweller or a swamp drainer. There are plenty of people who can be categorized as one or another – and many are located in Washington DC, working for our government.
A Swamp Dweller
A swamp dweller involves all of the individuals who live and work in Washington DC. They benefit from the corruption in one way or another. They choose to stay silent, which also means that they are perpetuating the corruption. These people are allowing it to happen by not saying anything.
You don’t want to be a swamp dweller. You don’t want to be involved in the corruption and you certainly don’t want to be a contributor.
Even Eric Trump identified that DC is more corrupt than what most Americans think. Uranium was given to Russia, for example, for personal gain. Uranium is used to make nuclear weapons. This should have grave consequences yet nothing is being done about it. This is just one of the many examples – and DC is hiding a lot of secrets from the American public.
A Swamp Drainer
A swamp drainer is one of the many people, residents, and Congressmen, who want to put an end to corruption. They want to pass bills that prevent personal gains. They want to make sure that people are disclosing their deals. They’re also the ones who are speaking out and calling people out when they are doing something illegal.
Representative Warren Davidson has an idea that will help to drain the swamp. He wants to move various parts out of DC in order to help drain the swamp. It would help to move the various departments to other parts of the US where they would have the greatest impact. Plus, it would save money and prevent corruption because of being so close to others who plan to benefit.
The swamp drainers are forward-thinking and see the dangers that will continue to tear the country apart if something isn’t done about it – and done about it sooner rather than later.
Be a Swamp Drainer
When you’re tired of reading about yet another corruption in the US government, think about it. You don’t want to be a swamp dweller. You can take the initiative to do something about it. There is so much corruption because it has been ALLOWED to happen for so long. Now, there are more and more people speaking out amongst the fractured system in order to make a change.
You can choose to be a part of the action. You can advocate for change. Start petitions, write to your congressman, picket…there are plenty of ways to be heard. If you want the greed and corruption to stop, it starts by saying something. If more people learn about what is going on in Washington DC, then it’s possible to see real action and see positive changes take form. As the constitution says, “We the people…” so it’s going to take all of us people to do something.
Rule 72 Initiative is actively working to drain the swamp. Our goal is to repeal Rule 72 so that our government can be reconfigured. When there is a more evolved governing body, security will be enhanced and the economy can strengthen. There is the goal to reduce the noise of lobbyists while exposing the problems to more of the American people.
